1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Patryk Reba, the developer of ReplyKey (“we”, “us”), for the ReplyKey iPhone app, its keyboard and its extensions (the “App”). By using the App you accept them. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms add to it, they don’t replace it.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. ReplyKey is built for dating and personal conversations between adults. Don’t use it if you are younger.
3. What ReplyKey does
ReplyKey reads the conversation you are in, when you ask it to, and suggests replies that it puts into the message field. It does not send messages, like, match or post anything on your behalf. You decide what to send. How it handles your data is described in the privacy policy.
4. AI-written text
- Suggestions, not advice. Replies are written by AI models from third-party providers. They can be wrong, inappropriate, out of context, or not what you meant. Read every reply before you send it.
- You are responsible for what you send, as if you had written it yourself.
- No professional advice. Nothing ReplyKey writes is legal, medical, financial, psychological or relationship advice.
- Not unique. Other users may receive similar suggestions.
- Honesty. Don’t use ReplyKey to impersonate someone, to deceive people about who you are, or to pretend to be human in situations where that matters to the other person.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use ReplyKey to:
- harass, threaten, manipulate, scam or exploit anyone, or write sexual content involving minors;
- read conversations you are not part of, or screens of someone else’s device;
- send spam or automated messages;
- break the law or the terms of the apps you use it in (some dating and chat apps restrict third-party tools; it’s your responsibility to follow them);
- reverse engineer the App, extract its keys or access the AI providers through it for other purposes.
The AI providers’ own usage policies also apply to what you ask the App to write. We may limit or stop the AI features for anyone who breaks these rules.
6. Other people’s data
The chats and profiles you use ReplyKey with contain other people’s information. Use ReplyKey only for conversations you take part in, and only to write your own replies. Don’t use it to collect or share information about others.
7. Subscriptions
ReplyKey can be used for free with a daily allowance of AI replies (currently 5 a day). The first time you use ReplyKey on an iPhone, you get a free 7-day trial with more replies and features, once per iPhone. It needs no payment details and ends by itself. We may change the free allowance and the trial.
ReplyKey Pro, with more replies and features, is not on sale yet. We plan to offer it as a weekly ($4.99) or yearly ($39.99) subscription through the App Store. Prices may differ by country and are always shown in the App before you buy. When Pro goes on sale, these terms apply to it:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- “Unlimited” means fair use: we may apply reasonable daily limits to protect the service from abuse.
8. Availability and changes
ReplyKey depends on iOS features and on third-party AI providers. We may change, suspend or remove features, models or providers, and some features may stop working when iOS or a chat app changes. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes.
9. Ownership
We own the App and its design. You keep any rights you have in what you write and what you send. Text ReplyKey suggests is yours to use, edit and send.
10. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for the content of AI suggestions you choose to send, for how other people react to them, or for the apps you use ReplyKey in. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for ReplyKey in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Ending
You can stop using ReplyKey at any time by removing the keyboard and deleting the App. We may end your access if you break these terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes go to the courts of Poland. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can also bring a claim in the courts there.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above, and for significant changes let you know in the App. Continuing to use ReplyKey after a change means you accept it.
